Pepper Spiced Cashew Nut Snack

Cashew nut snacks are a quick choice by every mother or a bachelor for its easy preparation methods; tasty yet full of calories. Our easy Baked Roasted cashews, which were made two weeks back, were a hit among many youngsters and mothers who asked for some more easy cashew recipes for their cashew loving kids.

This recipe is a bit spicier than the previous recipe, however; it is made very differently and has a fried texture. Youngsters welcome this while watching a game or during an evening chat session between friends. A handful of cashews are high in calories and the perfect snack for on-the go munching or parties. Earlier cashews were a garnishing ingredient for curries or desserts, though now they have pushed themselves into the main snack list.

This recipe is easy to make and takes very less time to prepare. Try adding other herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.

Ingredients

200 gms Only Organic Cashew Nuts

½ Cup breadcrumbs

One Fairtrade organic egg white

2 tsp Only Organic Pepper Powder

Salt to taste

Preparation

Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.  Line a baking tray with aluminum foil.

In a small bowl mix Only Organic Pepper Powder, bread crumbs and salt.

Dip the Only Organic Cashew Nuts in egg white and roll it in pepper- breadcrumbs mix to evenly coat it around each cashew nut.

Spread the coated Only Organic Cashew Nuts on the baking sheet and bake at 180 degree Celsius for 10- 12 minutes until they are golden brown in color.

Serve it hot.
